Hamilton Chamberlain Jones (1884-1957) was a lawyer from Charlotte, N.C., who represented North Carolina's Tenth Congressional District (Mitchell, Avery, Burke, Catawba, Lincoln, and Mecklenburg counties) in the United States House of Representatives, 1947-1953. Jones was a graduate of the University of North Carolina, class of 1906, and served as first assistant United States District Attorney, 1919-1921; state senator, 1925-1927; and trustee of the University of North Carolina.
